For most people, it will take at least one month to a month and a half from start to finish to get your security license in Ontario. This includes the time it takes to complete the required security guard and first aid training, writing the Ministry test and applying for your security license. It will take more time for those currently working or studying compared to someone who is able to focus on the training and work on it daily. We offer online training and allow you to access the materials at any time. Most people can complete our online security guard training within 1-2 weeks. Depending on the test slots available, you can book your test within a few weeks after completing the training. Finally it will take at least two weeks for your licence application to get approved. We recommend applying for your security license online for the quickest response.
